What conditions are needed for used Straw Me to break down?
Moisture, which will certainly be present after use.
Microorganisms, which are everywhere!
A time span of 30-60 days, depending on the heat in the area.
We highly suggest that Straw Me users dig up soil in their backyard and throw the used Straw Me into it to provide free nutrients to their plants!
How long do Straw Me last compared to Paper Straws?
Straw me straws last up to 4 hours in cold drinks compared to 30-45 minutes when using paper straws. Furthermore, paper straws are very fragile (see below).
